The Steel Base Kit is powder coated to resist rust and decay, and its heavy duty composition adds additional strength and rigidity to your greenhouse. Anchor Kit - This Grandio greenhouse comes with your choice of earth anchor kit, wood deck anchor kit, or concrete anchor kit, depending upon where you decide to assemble your greenhouse. Concrete anchors are perfect if you have a concrete pad or will be pouring a concrete foundation, while wood deck anchors work with a wood deck or a wooden foundation. The earth anchor kit is paired with an optional steel base that keeps your greenhouse level and square while raising the structure a few inches off the ground. Any of these anchor kits will help keep your greenhouse secure in severe weather when properly installed.

Drip Irrigation Watering Kit - The drip kit helps to keep your plants hydrated with minimal water waste and is perfect for a wide variety of plants. This kit can cover up to 150 square feet and includes 20 drippers at 1 GPH (gallons per hour), 2 drippers at 2 GPH, and 2 drippers at 4 GPH. A backflow preventer is included to stop water from being siphoned back into the main water supply, and the kit is designed for easy do-it-yourself installation.

Frame To Base Brackets - The frame to base brackets provide extra support to the inner walls of your greenhouse from windy conditions and severe weather by firmly locking the frame of the greenhouse to the base. Each pack of four includes 4 EZ1 wall to base brackets, 4 EZ2 inner base brackets, and 16 S02/ML01 bolt and nut combos. Louver Window - The elegant louver windows add additional ventilation to the sides of your greenhouse. Each window has 6mm polycarbonate panels and can be paired with an optional automatic louver window opener for hassle-free operation on hot days when opening windows and vents is important.

Moisture Control Kit - The moisture contol kit includes multiple units of waterproof all weather silicone caulk and a specialized anti-dust tape to completely seal your greenhouse. The anti-dust tape has a fungicidal coating and 45 micron filters that allow condensation to escape the flutes of the polycarbonate panels. The kit provides waterproofing and will help prevent dirt, mold, algae, and insects from entering the channels of the polycarbonate panels.

Plant Hangers - These clips come in packs of ten and attach easily to any Grandio greenhouse, allowing baskets or pots to be easily hung from the ceiling. Hanging baskets are a great way to maximize your growing space.

Shade Net - The Grandio 4.5' x 14' Greenhouse Shade Net is a great addition to your Grandio greenhouse, depending on your level of sun exposure. The aluminum cover reduces the sunlight by 50% to help keep your greenhouse a comfortable temperature during hotter times of the year, especially the summer months.

GRANDIO GREENHOUSE MATERIALS VS OTHER BRANDS

Choosing the right frame is one of the most critical decisions when selecting a greenhouse. The most common options include galvanized steel, wood, PVC, composite materials, and aluminum.

We recommend aluminum for its strength, lightweight properties, and rust resistance. Additionally, it’s relatively easy to assemble and often features anodized or powder-coated finishes for enhanced corrosion protection.

However, not all aluminum frames are equal.

Key considerations for aluminum frames:

1. Wall Thickness – When examining the cross-section (or profile) of an aluminum piece, the thickness of its structural walls determines its strength. A thicker wall means greater load-bearing capacity and durability.

2. Weight – Surprisingly, this is often overlooked. Since the frame makes up most of a greenhouse’s weight (polycarbonate panels are lightweight), comparing total weights can reveal the quality and structural integrity of the aluminum used.

By evaluating these factors, you can ensure your Grandio Greenhouse is a tough, sturdy, long-lasting greenhouse.

The Grandio Ascent vs Elite?

The key difference between these two similar models lies in the panel thickness.

The Grandio Ascent is the more budget-friendly option, featuring 6mm panels compared to the 10mm panels on the Elite.

Why does thickness matter?

1. Greater snow load capacity – Thicker panels can handle heavier snowfall.

2. Better insulation – Enhanced thermal efficiency for colder climates.

If you expect heavy snow, the Elite may be the better choice.

However, don’t overlook the Ascent:

1. It includes a Snow Load Kit (even in the base package).

2. 6mm panels still provide solid snow resistance for moderate conditions.

How easy is the Grandio to assemble? Very easy. We’ve designed and perfected the assembly process with you in mind. We provide the tools and a step-by-step assembly manual and video and if you have any problems you can call us at 1-888-612-2069.

Is a building permit required? You may not need a permit for your Grandio, but it is always a good idea check before you get started. We recommend you check local ordinances and requirements before setting up your greenhouse.

Is it strong enough for windy or heavy snow locations? Definitely. Grandio’s are all designed to withstand the most hostile environments with a wind rating of 76 MPH and snow load rating of 25lbs./ft² of snow. We offer additional roof and eave supports to increase the strength and durability of the greenhouse frame for the Element Greenhouses. Just follow the included directions for securing your greenhouse and you’ll enjoy many years of growing with your Grandio.

I live in the hot southwest will Grandio Greenhouses work for me? For people who live in high temperature areas of the country like Arizona, Texas, California, Nevada, or New Mexico we recommend our aluminum shade net. The aluminum shade net reflects the sun on the hottest days to help your greenhouse keep it’s cool.

How do the automatic roof vent openers work? The opener has a metal cylinder containing a mineral which expands when heated. This pushes a piston that opens the vent. As the temperature cools, the mineral shrinks and a spring closes the vent and resets the piston. The opening and closing of the vent is gradual allowing just the right amount of air flow for cooling. No electricity needed!

How large is the roof vent opening? The vent opening is 18-3/4″ width by 22-3/4” length.

What is the difference in polycarbonate thicknesses? Polycarbonate is available in several different thicknesses and normally comes in single, double, and triple walled sheets that can vary in thickness from 1mm to 10mm. A good rule to remember is that the thicker the panel the better insulation you’ll have for your greenhouse.

Can these greenhouse be mounted to a concrete pad? The Grandio comes standard with a base that is meant to anchor it in the soil with concrete footers or a duckbill anchor kit. However, it can be mounted to a concrete pad with additional tools and hardware. For more information please refer to our online manual or give us a call 1-888-612-2069 to discuss options.

All of our gazebos, pergolas, and pavilions have a 10 year limited warranty. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects that are not caused by normal wear and tear. We also guarantee your wood will not rot or become termite infested and your vinyl will not crack or discolor and will remain structurally sound (when used and maintained properly). Why is my wood structure cracking? Those "cracks" are naturally caused by expansion and contraction of the wood, and it is called checking. Part of the rusting charm of wood structures is checking, but if that look isn't what is desired we suggest looking for a vinyl structure.

Optional Steel Base Kit: If you're building your Element in a windy or extreme environment, Grandio recommends using the proprietary Steel Base Kit. It's powder-coated to resist rust and decay, and its sturdy design adds extra strength and stability to your greenhouse. The Steel Base Kit also provides an additional 3 inches of headroom. It includes anchors for soil, concrete, or wooden decking. For added sturdiness, Frame-to-Base Brackets can be included in this setup.

Included Flat Mount Base Kit: If you're building your Element on a concrete slab or wooden deck in a controlled or fenced area, the included Flat Mount Base Kit will provide a solid foundation. The kit comes with your choice of anchors for either concrete or wooden decking. If you're building over soil, you'll need to buy the Steel Base Kit separately.

Drain Kit - The drain kit down spout installs directly into the frame and gutter of your Grandio greenhouse. It includes four 20mm black pipes, four gutter attachment gaskets, and four side wall brackets with screws.

Drip Irrigation Watering Kit - The drip kit helps to keep your plants hydrated with minimal water waste and is perfect for a wide variety of plants. This kit can cover up to 150 square feet and includes 20 drippers at 1 GPH (gallons per hour), 2 drippers at 2 GPH, and 2 drippers at 4 GPH. A backflow preventer is included to stop water from being siphoned back into the main water supply, and the kit is designed for easy do-it-yourself installation.

Frame To Base Brackets - The frame to base brackets provide extra support to the inner walls of your greenhouse from windy conditions and severe weather by firmly locking the frame of the greenhouse to the base. Each pack of four includes 4 EZ1 wall to base brackets, 4 EZ2 inner base brackets, and 16 S02/ML01 bolt and nut combos. The link below in the manuals section shows the recommended number and layout of frame to base brackets for this greenhouse.

Louver Window - The elegant louver windows add additional ventilation to the sides of your greenhouse. Each window has 6mm polycarbonate panels and can be paired with an optional automatic louver window opener for hassle-free operation on hot days when opening windows and vents is important.

Moisture Control Kit - The moisture contol kit includes multiple units of waterproof all weather silicone caulk and a specialized anti-dust tape to completely seal your greenhouse. The anti-dust tape has a fungicidal coating and 45 micron filters that allow condensation to escape the flutes of the polycarbonate panels. The kit provides waterproofing and will help prevent dirt, mold, algae, and insects from entering the channels of the polycarbonate panels.

Plant Hangers - These clips come in packs of ten and attach easily to any Grandio greenhouse, allowing baskets or pots to be easily hung from the ceiling. Hanging baskets are a great way to maximize your growing space.

Shade Net - The Grandio 4.5' x 14' Greenhouse Shade Net is a great addition to your Grandio greenhouse, depending on your level of sun exposure. The aluminum cover reduces the sunlight by 50% to help keep your greenhouse a comfortable temperature during hotter times of the year, especially the summer months.

The Grandio Ascent vs Elite?

The key difference between these two similar models lies in the panel thickness.

The Grandio Ascent is the more budget-friendly option, featuring 6mm panels compared to the 10mm panels on the Elite.

Why does thickness matter?

1. Greater snow load capacity – Thicker panels can handle heavier snowfall.

2. Better insulation – Enhanced thermal efficiency for colder climates.

If you expect heavy snow, the Elite may be the better choice.

However, don’t overlook the Ascent:

1. It includes a Snow Load Kit (even in the base package).

2. 6mm panels still provide solid snow resistance for moderate conditions.

How easy is the Grandio to assemble? Very easy. We’ve designed and perfected the assembly process with you in mind. We provide the tools and a step-by-step assembly manual and video and if you have any problems you can call us at 1-888-612-2069.

Is a building permit required? You may not need a permit for your Grandio, but it is always a good idea check before you get started. We recommend you check local ordinances and requirements before setting up your greenhouse.

Is it strong enough for windy or heavy snow locations? Definitely. Grandio’s are all designed to withstand the most hostile environments with a wind rating of 76 MPH and snow load rating of 25lbs./ft² of snow. We offer additional roof and eave supports to increase the strength and durability of the greenhouse frame for the Element Greenhouses. Just follow the included directions for securing your greenhouse and you’ll enjoy many years of growing with your Grandio.

I live in the hot southwest will Grandio Greenhouses work for me? For people who live in high temperature areas of the country like Arizona, Texas, California, Nevada, or New Mexico we recommend our aluminum shade net. The aluminum shade net reflects the sun on the hottest days to help your greenhouse keep it’s cool.

How do the automatic roof vent openers work? The opener has a metal cylinder containing a mineral which expands when heated. This pushes a piston that opens the vent. As the temperature cools, the mineral shrinks and a spring closes the vent and resets the piston. The opening and closing of the vent is gradual allowing just the right amount of air flow for cooling. No electricity needed!

How large is the roof vent opening? The vent opening is 18-3/4″ width by 22-3/4” length.

What is the difference in polycarbonate thicknesses? Polycarbonate is available in several different thicknesses and normally comes in single, double, and triple walled sheets that can vary in thickness from 1mm to 10mm. A good rule to remember is that the thicker the panel the better insulation you’ll have for your greenhouse.

Can these greenhouse be mounted to a concrete pad? The Grandio comes standard with a base that is meant to anchor it in the soil with concrete footers or a duckbill anchor kit. However, it can be mounted to a concrete pad with additional tools and hardware. For more information please refer to our online manual or give us a call 1-888-612-2069 to discuss options.
